Abstract

Benign Transient Hyperphosphatasemia (BTH) is an elevation in serum alkaline phosphatase (ALP) level under 5 years of age without any symptoms of liver or bone disease and a return to normal levels within 12-16 weeks. Herein, an 11-month-old girl with no evidence of liver or bone disease, having elevated serum ALP level that was noticed on a routine examination and returned to normal levels after 6 weeks of follow-up has been presented.
