Abstract
It is observed that the age of marriage and pregnancy in high school female students gradually has decreased in Taskent, Republic of Uzbekistan. Unfortunately, younger parents are somewhat less interested in their babies and these children take less mother care. Fort that reason, these mothers discontinue breastfeeding early and their babies get sick with a high frequency. In this study, we aimed to evaluate the social development and health status of student mothers and their children under the age of 3 years. The children between 0-3 years of old were included in our study. We retrospectively investigated the records of 470 high school student parents and their babies. We recorded the socio-economic level and health status of the parents, the quality of follow-up during pregnancy, neurodevelopment of the babies, diseases of the children up to age 3. The data were analysed statistically. According to our results, the number of high school student mothers increased, and the age of marriage decreased gradually in Taskent. Most of them gave birth around 3rd and 4th classes of high school. The ratio of parents living in big families was 94 %. In conclusion, the frequencies of early breastfeeding interruption and diseases of children born to high school student mothers were found at a high level
