Abstract

Nasal gliomas are rare and benign congenital tumors caused by abnormal embryonic development. There are three clinical types as extranasal, intranasal and mixed. These masses are fi rm, non-pulsatile, gray or pink and clinically obstruct the nasal cavity or cause an extranasal deformity. Radiological examination is necessary to determine if intracranial involvement is present. The treatment requires surgical excision and a multidisiplinary approach. We present a newborn patient who was diagnosed with nasal glioma and underwent surgical excision in this study and discuss the relevant literature
